The Code Visualizer is a simple tool that places building energy codes and performance standards on a common scale.
The baseline or 100 mark represents a typical modern building as defined by the CBECS 2003 database (commercial) or HERS Index score of 100 (residential). The zero mark represents a zero net carbon or zero net energy target. All values in between are scaled linearly.
